Terminal register method and terminal device

The present invention provides a terminal register method and a terminal device. The terminal register method comprises the steps of using a processor at the application side of the terminal to detect the register state of a processor at the Modem side of the terminal in a CS domain, when the terminal initiates a register flow and if a data business function of the terminal is turned on; if the processor at the application side of the terminal detects that the register state of the processor at the Modem side in the CS domain is successful register, using the processor at the application side to send a PDP activation request to the processor at the Modem side in such that the processor at the Modem side can send the PDP activation request to a base station. According to the present invention, when the processor at the Modem side does not register successfully in the CS domain, the processor at the application side of the above terminal does not issue the PDP activation request to the processor at the Modem side, so that the issue of the PDP activation request can be prevented from influencing the register of the processor at the Modem side in the CS domain, and accordingly, the register time of the processor at the Modem side of the terminal in the CS domain can be reduced.
