Percepção dos feirantes sobre produtos orgânicos no munícipio de Altamira, Pará

This article has the objective of analyzing the perception of the organic products market and analyzing the demand and supply for these products in two free trade fairs in the city of Altamira, Para. Data collection for the survey was carried out with 24 markets in the Municipal Market and in Feira of the Rural Producer Joana Amaral Goes, through a semi-structured questionnaire. In the study, it was verified that most of the participants (71%) of the respondents knew the concept of organic products. However, the demand for organic products in the two fairs surveyed is still expanding. In the study, it was possible to observe that the marketers offer organic products in their tents and know the importance of the same when compared to the conventional one. The results have shown that marketers know and know the concept of the word "organic products" and are keen to market a quality product to their customers.
