Stability Estimate for the Nonlinear Seakeeping Problem

The paper deals with the nonlinear I-BV problem describing the motion of a 30 surface-piercing heavy rigid body in an irrotational and incompressible fluid. An energy estimate is proven and several conclusions concerning uniqueness, continuous dependence and blow-up of solutions are inferred.
