Atractylodis Rhizoma has been known as one of the superior quality in Sin Nong Chinese Medical Botany and K.P. The main ingredients were hinesol, β-eudesmol, elemol, atractylodin and β-seliene, etc. FIn these studies hinesol and β-eudesmol quantities had been analyzed on the raw materials and its preparations by the analytical method of GLC under condition of column 10% PEG-20M on chromosorb WAW DMCS 60-80 mesh (3m, stainless), column temperature 195 and detector FID. In this studies it is discussed that the results of the analysis of Atractylodis Rhizoma, the content of hinesol and β-eudesmol were 0.67% and 0.37%.
