Device and method for the simultaneous agitation of the reaction mixtures

The present invention is in the field of high-throughput research for liquid and multiphase reactions. The invention relates to a method for simultaneously performing at least one chemical reaction in at least two separate reaction vessels, said method comprising at least the following steps: (I) providing at least one reaction mixture per reaction vessel; (Ii) pneumatic agitation of the reaction mixture in at least one reaction vessel by contacting the reaction mixture with at least one fluid phase wherein the is carried out at least one chemical reaction in at least one of the reaction vessels in a batch mode and the reaction mixture contains at least one liquid phase. The fluid phase is at least supplied to a reaction vessel over a defined period of time and at least partially removed again from the reaction vessel. The present invention further relates to the method associated with the device.
