Gold-Catalyzed Intermolecular Carboalkoxylation of Alkenes

A gold-catalyzed intermolecular carboalkoxylation of ­alkenes has been developed. Readily available and inexpensive ­dimethyl acetals have been employed as a facile reagent to achieve the carboalkoxylation of alkenes.
