The utility model relates to an improved propeller of a double suction centrifugal pump. The left side and the right side of the improved propeller are provided with blades along a middle line, the blades are mutually staggered at the correspondence positions of the left side and the right side along the middle line, namely that the left blades and the right blades are mutually staggered along the middle line, and the whole blades of the propeller are uniformly and mutually spaced on the circumference. The propeller is provided with a mazy sealing slot on the position matched with a sealing ring. The blades at the two sides of the propeller of the utility model are staggered to form an angle theta of 360 DEG / the total blade number of the propeller so as to make up for energy disproportion caused by the slide of liquid flow in a blade passage, so the energy gap is reduced when pumped liquid reach a spiral casing of a water chamber so as to reduce loss in the process that energy balance is reached by mutual shock, meanwhile, the efficiency is enhanced, the section with high efficiency can be widened, the pressure flow becomes smooth, the pulse and the shock are decreased, so the operation is smooth. The mazy sealing slot of the improved propeller is matched with the sealing ring which is provided with a mazy sealing slot so as to enhance volumetric efficiency.
