RESEARCH ON PREDICTING METHOD OF NATURAL DISASTER BASED ON GENETIC ALGORITHM

The method of using genetic algorithm to estimate parameters of natural disaster predictingmodel is given. Two long-term predicting models of agricultural area suffering from natural disaster are set up by using the method in Shandong Province. The models include one and two periodic components respectively. The result shows that genetic algorithm can be used to estimate parameters of complex predicting model of natural disaster. And the method is also able to seek out the optimum value of parameter in theory.
