Collaborative Experiences in Practice: Case Studies from the United Kingdom

The focus of this chapter is on the practical implementation of digital technologies to facilitate school collaboration. In particular, the chapter sets out to present teachers’ and students’ hopes and experiences from their participation in collaborative projects. Drawing on empirical data from case studies of two collaborative projects initiated by schools in the United Kingdom and partnered with schools in Greece and Germany, respectively, this chapter presents a broad picture of the actual practices and challenges in a range of diverse secondary education classrooms.
