Research on the Efficiency Evaluation of City Economic Development——Based on Empirical Research in Chongqing City

Taking the economic development of Chongqing city as an example, selecting the capital, land and human factors as input elements of economic system of the city, with GDP and local fiscal income as output elements of system of the city, the economic performance was evaluated from the perspective of input-output system by DEA methods, and the reasons for the differences in the city economic operation performance were explored, and the impact on the city economy efficiency by technical factors and scale factors was obtained. The results show that the reason of low DEA efficiency of the city economic operation system is mainly caused by two aspects of technical inefficiency and scale inefficiency. The corresponding measures should be taken to promote the efficiency of city development based on the different types of problems in the city decision.
