STATIC COLORED SU(2) SOURCES IN (1+1) DIMENSIONS — AN ANALYTIC SOLUTION IN THE ELECTRIC REPRESENTATION

Within the Schrodinger electric representation, we analytically calculate the complete set of wave functionals obeying Gauss' law with static sources in a general representation of SU(2) in (1+1) dimensions. The effective potential is found to be linear in the distance between the sources with the string tension depending on the polarization of the solution.
