Evaluation of E-learning: A case study of PsyCHE

2021
This study aims to measure the quality of the e-learning website based on the quality and significance level of user perception. The study also examined challenges and solutions to the implementation of the e-learning platform. This study’s subjects were the PsyCHE e-learning application and 305 students using e-learning for more than six months. This research was conducted through a WebQual4.0-dimension approach. The data collected was then analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) to determine student satisfaction, which is the gap between importance and performance. The IPA analysis shows that all gaps in the WebQual attribute are negative; this illustrates that the performance of the PsyCHE website cannot meet the expectations of its users. The IPA quadrant provides six indicators in quadrant 1, 7 indicators in quadrant II, four indicators in quadrant III, and five indicators in quadrant IV. The Wilcoxon test is used to determine whether there is a difference between the respondent’s expectation and perception; in this study, the Wilcoxon test shows a difference between the two. This study recommendsthat the Faculty take urgent action to improve e-learning performance and update their strategic plans by prioritizing attributes with the most significant gaps in user satisfaction.
