Electrochemical stability and ionic conductivity of some polymer-lix based electrolytes
1988
Abstract High molecular weight poly(ethylene oxide) based solid polymer electrolytes have been considered for application in all solid state electrochemical devices. Such electrolytes show very good mechanical properties. The lithium ion mobility occurs mainly in the amorphous liquid like phase of the solid polymer membrane. We report results obtained with high-molecular weight high purity PEOLiX (X=ClO 4 − , CF 3 SO 3 − ) based electrolytes for conductivity and stability characterization. The role of catalytic residues present in commercial PEO is discussed.
