According to the method for detecting the disk array, under the condition of judging that the system load is lower, the situation of data loss is detected through periodically reading and writing a designated disk, and data recovery is carried out through the RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) redundant information, so that the probability of offset of magnetic media is reduced during the detection process of data read-write, and the offset data can be recovered; if the RAID redundant information cannot recover accurate data, the warning message can be produced to inform a manager to treat in time, so that the problem of data loss easily occurred on the disk which is not read or written for a long time can be effectively solved, and the probability of problem occurrence is reduced, and the reliability of the system is improved.
