functional lung. The median NTCP for RP in the perfused lung was 8.9% compared with 7.0% for the original and adapted plans respectively (p < 0.01). The median NTCP for RP in the ‘well perfused’ lung was 8.4% compared with 6.6% for the original and adapted plans respectively (p < 0.01). Conclusions: Plans adapted to functional lung allowed for significant technical improvement of IMRT for NSCLC patients, with a larger magnitude of improvement noted in plans optimized for ‘well perfused’ rather than ‘perfused’ lung. This study demonstrates proof-of-principle that 4D 68Ga-perfusion PET/CT can be used to spare dose to functional lung using IMRT planning techniques. Author Disclosure: S. Siva: None. T.
