Effect of treatment temperature on the properties and structure of nano-Ni group core-shell ER fluid

By means of mechanical properties test and microstructure observation,the relationship between heat treatment temperature of nano-Ni group core-shell particles and mechanical properties under different electric field was studied.It is found that the FT-IR,TEM and XRD spectrum of different heat treated particle are diverse from each other,the shear stress of same composition ER fluid decreases with heat treatment temperature increasing.But the leakage current density of ER fluid leads to the opposite result.That is because the leakage current density of ER fluid decreases with increasing heat treatment temperature.
