Accumulation of Tc-99m tetrofosmin in multiple myeloma.

A 58-year-old woman with multiple myeloma had Tc-99m tetrofosmin myocardial SPECT to evaluate possible doxorubicin-induced cardiomyopathy. The diagnosis was proved pathologically. Computed tomography (CT) of the chest showed myeloma involvement in a left rib adjacent to the heart. SPECT showed dense accumulation of tetrofosmin in the myeloma.
