Comparison on Flow Control Unit in Tundish of Continuous Casting

According to the hydraulic model research on flow control devices of T-type five-strands billet asymmetric continuous casting tundish, it is obvious that flow control devices with reasonable structure can improve flow behavior of fluid in the tundish. And by the use of judge way of flow behavior on muti-way continuous casting tundish, experiment data of many programs are discussed and the best design program is found. It provides the reference for the design of flow control devices in the tundish. The experiments show that weir with holes can improve the fluid flow in tundish and the best weir with holes is presented.
