Method for producing Ii group metal sulfide phosphor precursor and a phosphor

2008
In the production of Group II metal sulfide phosphor and a precursor thereof, a homogeneous introduction of activated metal into phosphor particles and provides a method for drawing to improve the utilization efficiency of the metal element to be used. That, II group element compound, a sulfurizing agent, as well, and copper, silver, manganese, and the reaction mixture was added an aqueous solution in an organic solvent containing at least one compound containing any of gold, and rare earth elements, the reaction mixture was heated, water and an organic solvent to azeotrope, the time, by recovering only the water obtained by condensing the vapor generated by azeotropy, while removing water from the reaction mixture, the method for producing a group II metal sulfide phosphor precursor, characterized in that to produce the desired group II metal sulfide in the reaction mixture solution to solve the above problems.
