A VIOLÊNCIA DOMÉSTICA CONTRA MULHER EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA EM CURITIBA E REGIÃO METROPOLITANA

This article discusses domestic violence against women in Curitiba and its Metropolitan Region during COVID-19, with the aim of informing the population about domestic violence and its forms and how to file a complaint. The research method was a literature review followed by an application of a public questionnaire through which 33.3% of the people said they had witnessed or suffered some type of domestic violence, and an intervention video. Through the Maria da Penha Law, information is obtained on the subject, and how justice should behave in the face of complaints. Thus, it is clear that this type of violence is a persistent problem in society, it can be observed in different contexts, involving women of all races, beliefs and social classes. Psychologists have a fundamental role in helping these deaths, enabling them to overcome this suffering and giving new meaning to these women's life perspectives.
