Vesiculopustular Eruption With Mycoplasma Infection
1970
A widespread vesiculopustular eruption, initially resembling chickenpox, but evolving differently, associated with a febrile upper-respiratory tract illness which lasted two weeks developed in a 27-year-old man. A 16-fold rise in complement-fixation titer for Mycoplasma pneumoniae between the seventh and 15th day of his illness suggested the cause of the disease.
