Method for promoting rapid germination of coix lacryma-jobi seeds

The invention discloses a method for promoting the rapid germination of coix lacryma-jobi seeds. The method comprises the following steps: collection and selection of the seeds: taking fresh coix lacryma-jobi seeds, carrying out air drying in the sun, drying in the shade or oven-drying the fresh coix lacryma-jobi seeds, removing impurities, unfilled hulls and empty-shell grains; cleaning and disinfection: cleaning the selected seeds with clean water, draining water, using a sodium hypochlorite solution to soak and disinfect, fishing out, cleaning with the sodium hypochlorite solution, carrying out air drying in the shade till no water drops exist when touching with hands; seed soaking and germination acceleration: putting the disinfected seeds in a gibberellin solution, and soaking the seeds in the dark; seedling culture: selecting sand as a seedling culture substrate, filling a seed germination dish or a seedling culture tray with the sand, and thoroughly wetting with a potassium nitrate solution; taking the seeds soaked by gibberellin for sowing, covering with the sand, wetting with the potassium nitrate solution, and culturing under the constant-temperature condition; maintaining the wet state of the substrate during the culture, carrying out transplanting or using for other purposes after seedlings are formed. The method disclosed by the invention has the characteristics that the germination rate of the coix lacryma-jobi seeds can be increased, the seedling forming time can be shortened, and the high efficiency and quality guarantee are achieved.
