The invention, which belongs to the technical field of the underwater detection, relates to a detection apparatus for underwater searching and positioning. A display screen is in electric information connection with an energy converter and an electronic compass by cables and is used for displaying a path value and an angle value; and the energy converter and the electronic compass are installed on a base plate by a support with a rotatable adjusting structure. A position locking device for assisting in angle measurement is arranged on the support. The energy transducer emits a single-wave-beam ultrasonic wave beyond a 1-kilometer range and receives an ultrasonic wave reflected by a to-be-measured structure or a measuring point; ultrasonic wave propagation time and a propagation speed are calculated to obtain a distance to the to-be-measured structure or the measuring point; and an angle value on the electronic compass is read directly to obtain the angle of the to-be-measured structure or the measuring point. According to the invention, the provided apparatus has advantages of simple structure, convenient movement, good measuring effect, high measurement efficiency, and friendly using environment.
