High-altitude solar aircraft layout and heading control method of high-altitude solar aircraft

2015
The invention relates to the field of overall layout design of aircrafts, in particular to a high-altitude solar aircraft. The aircraft comprises a main wing, power devices, flaperons and a plurality of cabins with airfoil profiles, wherein the cabins are parallel to one another, and are used as vertical stabilizers and supporting structures; the main wing is mounted at the upper sides of the cabins, and is vertical to the cabins; a joint, close to each cabin and the main wing, on the corresponding cabin is provided with the power device; and the two sides of the rear edges of the main wing are provided with the flaperons. The invention also relates to a heading control method of the high-attitude solar aircraft. According to the invention, although a tail wing in the conventional prior art is not adopted, enough control ability is guaranteed by virtue of coordination of the power devices and the flaperons, thereby greatly reducing resistance during flight and required power for flight, and obviously improving pneumatic efficiency and duration of flight of the aircraft. The cabins with the airfoil profiles are taken as the vertical stabilizers to achieve effects of vertical fins, and the cabins are also taken as supporting mechanisms for bearing internal load during mounting.
