System for making observation record audible
1992
PURPOSE:To allow an observer to recognize occurrence of a failure and its degree without restraining the observer to a screen by converting observation information according to either sound information such as a musical interval, a sound pressure or a tone. CONSTITUTION:Specific observation information to be monitored among observation records sent from an observation point is made correspondence with either sound information such as a musical interval, a sound pressure or a tone programmed in a personal computer 1 and converted into such sound information. The sound information is further converted by the personal computer 1 into a control signal to a sound source module 2. The control signal is output to the sound source module 2, thereby synthesizing the musical interval, sound pressure or tone corresponding to each sound information in the sound source module 2, which is output as a monitoring sound from a monitor speaker 3 and transmitted to an observer. Thus transmission is clear and efficient, thereby simplifying detection of occurrence of an unexpected failure and its degree.
