Application Research on a New Dry Type Wear-reducing Technology for Locomotive Wheel Flange

A new wheel flange wear-reducing technology based on the surface theory is introduced in this paper.The application research shows that 2 products using "metal friction-reducing and renovating technology" for different rail lines are not only safe and applicative,but also more effective than the traditional products over 8% and 40% respectively.
