The Experimental Study on the Basic Working Properties of a 10 kw Adsorption Refrigerator

This paper presents the experimental study of a 10 kW adsorption refrigerator.A testing system of the adsorption refrigerator is developed to test the working parameters of the refrigerator and its parts,such as adsorbers,condensers and evaporators.According to the performances analysis results of each heat exchanger,their working properties are good,while the heat transfer areas of condensers and evaporators should be increased.The results show that the refrigerating power and COP of the refrigerator are 11.4 kW and 0.27,respectively,on standard working condition,which are also 114% and 140% of those of the design requirements.
