Comparative study of impedance properties of LiHZn(P2O7), Na2ZnP2O7.HCl and KHZnP2O7 crystals

LiHZn(P2O7), Na2ZnP2O7.HCl and KHZnP2O7 crystals were synthesized by hydrothermal technique at moderate P-T conditions. SEM studies revealed the presence of macro- and micro surface features of the crystals. Powder X-ray results revealed, LiHZn(P2O7) crystallized in orthorhombic system Na2ZnP2O7 crystallized in tetragonal system and KHZnP2O7crystallized in triclinic system. Impedance spectroscopy, impedance properties analyses indicated that these are prospective fast ionic conductors. PACS Nos. : 81.10.Dn, 61.10.Nz, 81.70.Pg, 78.30.Hv.
