Method and device for processing failure in operator shared network

A method and device for processing a failure in an operator shared network. The method is used for a first base station under which there are a plurality of operator shared networks. The method comprises: acquiring an identifier of a faulty operator, the faulty operator being an operator which has a network failure under the first base station; and notifying a UE under the first base station of the identifier of the faulty operator by means of a specified message, so that the UE under the first base station no longer accesses the network of the faulty operator under the first base station. In a scenario where there are a plurality of operator shared networks under a base station, when a failure (such as an S1 link failure) occurs in a network of some operator(s), in the present invention, the identifier of a faulty operator can be notified to a UE under the base station by means of a specified message (such as an SIB message), so that the UE distinguishes correctly which operators have network failures so as to avoid abnormal phenomena such as the case where the UE still tries to access the network(s) of the faulty operator(s).
