The study of lifetimes of positronium in polystyrene irradiated by thermal neutrons

The intensity of the slow component in the decay of positronium in neutron irradiated polystyrene is studied as a function of the dose of irradiation. The results indicate that the positronium forms and annihilates mainly in the benzene rings in polystyrene.
