Synthesis of the carbocyclic oxetanocin A1 and its related compounds.

: Carboxetanocin A (III) and several related compounds including carboxetanocin G (VI), 9-(3,3-bis(hydroxymethyl)adenine (X), -guanine (XI) and 9-cyclobutylguanine were prepared.
