정보의 가치사슬 관점에서 본 방송통신분야 표준산업분류체계 정립방향 연구

This study aims to do comparative analysis of some Standards of Industry Classification, as NSIC, ISIC, JSIC, which reflect universal trend in these sectors with some criteria, such as "information"(text, audio, video), "media"(electronic, physical, internet), "the value chain" (production, distribution). We"ve reached some conclusions. First, all these SICs have changed the classification of broadcasting and telecommunication Industries, into "information and communication". For authors, ‘information’ refers to the creation or production of message(information), and ‘communication’, the distribution of the information to the public. telecommunication industries becomes more and more great. The cultural characteristic of broadcasting industry has diminished as well. Third, despite of these changes, the nature of broadcasting service and telecommunication service have not changed. The convergence is not for the services, just for the service providers. In doing further reversion of KSIC, it needs to take more cautious consideration of the meaning of universal trend in these sectors.
