Analysis of trace elements content in mulberry leaves of different age.

2010
In this experiment, the atomic absorption spectrometry was used to detect the trace elements in different stages of mulberry leaves. The results indicated that the change of the iron content was not very obvious, the highest content was 316.5 mg·kg-1 and the lowest content was 291.0 mg·kg-1.The copper content in young leaves was higher compared with that in old leaves, and the highest content was 12.32 mg·kg-1,while the lowest content was 7.40 mg·kg-1.The content change of the manganese in the leaves with the growing leaf age was not in regularity.Cadmium, lead contents trended to raise with the growth of the leaf age,the highest content was 0.4069 and 5.8075 mg·kg-1,respectively.The zinc content trended downward with the growth of the leaves, the highest content was 391.5 mg·kg-1 and the lowest content was 268.3 mg·kg-1.
