Desmoplastic fibroma arising in the mandible: Report of a case

A case of desmoplastic fibroma arising in the mandible in a 41-year-old female was reported.Radiological examination revealed a poorly circumscribed lesion and many non-uniferm spotty radiolucent appearances were noticed.For treatment, a portion of the tumor was resec ted from 2 to 7 of the mandible.Histopathological examination revealed that the tumor was composed of the interlacing bundles of dense collagenfibers and fibroblasts.The case reported here was considered to be an atypical in radiological findings, arid to be a typical in histopathological findings.
