On the effect of DPN on the conversion of 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid to quinolonic acid: In presence of hepatic tissue of rats affected by Oberling's myeloma in the leukemic phase

Abstract DPN restores, perhaps completely, in vitro , the enzymic activity of 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid oxidase, which is inhibited in hepatic tissue of rats carrying Oberling's myeloma in the leukemic phase. These results are discussed with reference to previous results which demonstrate that DPN is probably the coenzyme of 3-hydroxyanthranilic acid oxidase.
