Contemporary New Zealand (NZ) is a dynamic society, with a diverse population and a broad cultural mix. An appreciation of crucial aspects of NZ history and culture will help to facilitate an understanding of our discussion of the range and nature of psychotherapeutic interventions for psychosis provided to clients of mental health services.
