Continuous liquid-liquid extraction spectrophotometric determination of diflunisal

A method has been proposed for the spectrophotometric determination of diflusinal (5-(2,4-difluorophenyl)salicyclic acid) using continuous flow analysis based on the formation of the methylene blue-diflunisal ion associate and its extraction into chloroform. The calibration curve was linear in the concentration range 1.10 -7 to 2.10 -5 mol.1 -1 . The determination limit (10σ) was 1.10 -7 mol.1 -1 . The sample analysis rate is 15 samples per hour
