A2− production in the channel π− + neutrals near threshold

Abstract The mass spectrum of the A 2 meson has been studied in the reaction π − +p → A 2 − +p, A 2 − → π − + neutrals near threshold. In contrast to our previous study of the channel A 2 →π + π − π − there is some evidence for structure within the resonance.
