PCR process for superamplification

2013
The invention relates to a method for amplifying nucleic acids by means of a polymerase chain reaction in which a cycle consisting of the steps denaturation, annealing and elongation, is repeated. In one embodiment, the gain (g) of copies of a nucleic acid to be amplified at the end of at least one of the cycles of the cycle is less than 80 percent of the copies of the nucleic acid present at the beginning of this cycle and at least one of the cycles of the cycle is an exposure time (t A ) shorter than one second. In addition, in a further embodiment, the number (k) of the cycles of the polymerase chain reaction cycle is greater than 45 and / or in at least one of the cycles, a cycle duration t c is shorter than 20 seconds.
