De midden -paleolithische vindplaats veldwezelt-op de schans (limburg) : een voorlopig rapport

An excavation was organised after a few flint chips and flakes were found in a loam quarry at Veldwezelt (gem. Lanaken), Limburg. A small amount of lithic artifacts was found during this excavation, mainly chips and debitage flakes. A number of artifacts show a wind polish while others are extremely fresh. It seems that a brief period of debitage activities is represented at this Middle Palaeolithic site.
