The invention relates to a welding device for belt pulley friction plates. The welding device comprises a high-frequency welding machine, a workpiece axial-direction positioning base, a balance compacting mechanism, a stroke motor, a longitudinal guide post and a frame. A workbench is arranged at the upper end of the frame. The longitudinal guide post is arranged on the rear side of the upper end of the workbench. The balance compacting mechanism is arranged above the workbench, and the rear side of the balance compacting mechanism is in guide connection with the longitudinal guide post. The balance compacting mechanism comprises an air cylinder, a sliding seat, a connecting seat, balance springs and a friction plate compacting head. The sliding seat is connected with the body end of the air cylinder, and the piston rod end of the air cylinder extends downwards to be connected with the connecting seat. The friction plate compacting head is arranged below the connecting seat. The connecting seat is connected with the friction plate compacting head through at least three connecting screws. The balance springs sleeve the connecting screws respectively. The workpiece axial-direction positioning base is arranged below the axial lower side of the friction plate compacting head. A positioning sleeve is arranged at the upper end of the workpiece axial-direction positioning base. A high-frequency induction coil is embedded outside the upper end of the positioning sleeve along the radial direction. Two ends of the high-frequency induction coil are connected with the high-frequency welding machine respectively.
