Transmission line parameters

Abstract The parameters of UHV transmission lines include the distributed capacitance, distributed inductance and distributed resistance of the per-unit length of the line. The conductor radius, the number of bundled conductors, circular radius of the bundled conductor, three-phase arrangement form and the suspension height of the conductor affect the values of the line parameters. This chapter introduces in detail the calculation method and derivation process of each parameter of transmission line, and then expounds the different types of transmission line tower.
