Billiard marker based on RFID radio frequency identification

2012
The invention designs a billiard marker based on RFID radio frequency identification. The billiard marker comprises RFID tags embedded into billiard bodies, antennae of RFID readers installed below all goal holes, and a control console. The control console comprises a central processing unit, the RFID readers, an electronic score display board, and a user input button; each RFID reader is connected with a corresponding antenna; output terminals of the RFID readers are connected with the central processing unit; the central processing unit is connected with the electronic score display board and the user input button; colors of billiards are differentiated through ID numbers of the RFID tags; and color attributes are stored to part or whole of the RFID tags, the RFID readers and the central processing unit. The billiard marker has the advantages that the billiard marker adopting the RFID radio frequency identification can automatically identify billiards in a non-contact way, the control console can judge the goal situation in real time and display real-time scores, and the billiard marker is convenient to use and brings convenience to snooker sport.
