A bonding agent between the oxide ceramic and a facing material, in particular for dental purposes, method of application as well as kit for its preparation and application

The task was to improve the bond between the oxide ceramic and the veneering and increase its durability. According to the invention, an adhesion promoter is applied (mixture of silicate ceramics and quartz) as a sol to an article to be veneered and not dense sintered body of oxide ceramic or their starting materials. Subsequently, the base body with the knitted-in adhesion promoters are finally sintered, and thereafter applied to the veneering. The invention is used for example for the production of highly resilient dental crowns and bridges.
