GNSS User Technology: next generation GNSS-based location technologies

This paper is based on 2018 GSA’s User Technology Report [1], which addresses trends and developments in the GNSS downstream industry, analysing the state-of-the-art and the trends of GNSS receiver technology and providing an in-depth analysis of GNSS user technology in three macrosegments, i.e. mass-market, transport safety- and liability-critical and high precision and timing solutions. This paper and the referenced GSA report are meant to serve as a valuable tool to support planning and decision-making with regards to developing, purchasing and using GNSS user technology.
