The Establishment of Nursing Quality Management System in Geriatric Hospital

Objective: Investigate the quality control management system for geriatric hospital care. Methods: Update nursing management and nursing care for the elderly concept, according to the characteristics of our hospital patients and elderly patients care needs. The purpose is to provide for an geriatric hospital patient care model. Results: By running a nursing quality management system, patient satisfaction was improved, the overall quality of nurses was enhanced, and quality of care was continuous improved. These measures reduce the incidence of falls in elderly patients during hospitalization and piping off and other adverse events, they can effectively improve the daily lives of elderly inpatients' ability. Conclusion: Establishing the system of nursing quality management in geriatric hospital, can play a role in the prevention and warning of various security risks in aged, has important implications for aged care safety management.
