A Educação Não Formal na Prevenção dos Problemas Ligados ao Álcool

The consumption of alcohol by young people and alcohol problems have been a growing concern in Portugal and worldwide. The origin of these consumptions arise numerous reasons, among them, the frustration of basic psychological needs (NPB), situation ripe for the adoption of compensatory behaviors in the face of frustration, as the consumption of alcohol. In preventing these behaviors and to the satisfaction of the NPB, can greatly contribute, by their inherent characteristics, Social Pedagogy, Social Education and Non Formal Education (NFE), concepts interlinked and associate noticeably. This paper then presents a study that examined the contributions that an intervention based on ENF brings to satisfaction of NPB and the decrease in the consumption patterns of young people.
