Manipulator system for medical use

In order to improve insertion properties when inserting a manipulator into a base end of an overtube that is fixed to a flat base, a manipulator system (1) for medical use according to the present invention is provided with: a manipulator (5) that has a treatment portion (12) at the tip and has a base end drive unit (11), which drives the treatment portion (12), at the base end; an overtube (3) that has a channel (4) through which the manipulator (5) is passed in the longitudinal direction; and a base (8) that is provided, on the top surface, with a support portion (41) to which a base end portion of the overtube (3) is attached, and with a drive source (14) that supplies a driving force to the base end drive unit (11). The support portion (41) is provided with: a movable portion that is provided so as to be movable between a first position at which the longitudinal axis of the base end portion of the overtube (3) is supported horizontally, and a second position at which the base end portion is supported at a position that is further removed from the top surface than the first position; and a biasing portion that, with the base end drive unit (11) removed from the drive source (14), moves the movable portion to the second position.
