Thermal stability of GaAs heteroface solar cells with differing contact materials

1981
The goal of the research described is to develop a GaAs solar cell with a long operating life at elevated temperatures. Two objectives of the experiments were to identify the changes in cell operating characteristics due to heating and to see if they differed for different metal contacts. Studies conducted to determine the influence of various front contact metals on the electrical stability of such cells are described. 5 refs.
