Surrounding effects on the valence behaviour of cerium in intermetallic compounds
1987
Abstract The structural and magnetic properties of the CeRh, Ce 1− x La x Rh and Ce 1− x Y x Rh, phases were studied and discussed in order to investigate how the valence behaviour of cerium should be affected by the change in its surroundings due to the partial substitution of Ce with an element chemically similar, but different in size.
